The Chakrams

Circular bladed weapons of Indian origin, with records of their use dating back to as early as the 5th century. Primarily used as throwing weapons, they were quicker and easier to throw at enemies than spears and other weapons. Though they are particularly dangerous to the wielder if handled incorrectly.

Tap

Zagreus launches his chakrams forward one at a time and they return to him, dealing damage on their way out, and as they return.

Rapid Tap

Consecutive taps execute a three-hit combo attack where Zagreus attacks with each chakram individually then with both at the same time, dealing 1.5x damage on the third hit.

The first two taps of the X button throw the chakrams out individually, as described in Tap.

The third and final tap makes Zagreus throw both chakrams simultaneously, this deals 1.5x as much damage as the two previous tap inputs (individually).

Hold

If the player holds the X button, Zagreus performs the third hit of the combo without the prerequisite first two hits.

Held X input provides the same effect as the third hit in the Rapid Tap combo.
